No. We just need access to the yard through an unlocked gate, and pets kept inside on service days.
Maintenance and care plans are billed monthly by card or bank transfer. Installation projects require a 30% deposit to schedule, with the balance due on completion.
Plants we install are covered for one year, provided they're watered as recommended. We replace any that fail once at no charge for the plant; labor is included within the first 90 days.

Legal
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the website of Homestead Scapes LLC ("Homestead Scapes", "we", "us" or "our") and to landscaping, lawn care, hardscaping, irrigation and related services we provide. By using the website, approving a quote or allowing us to perform work, you agree to these Terms. Where a signed contract or approved quote conflicts with these Terms, the signed contract or quote controls.
Prices on this website are starting prices for typical properties and are not binding offers. A written quote is valid for 30 days from issue. The quoted scope of work is the only work included; changes or additions requested after approval will be quoted separately and performed only with your approval. Material prices may be adjusted if a project is delayed more than 60 days at your request.
Service days are targets, not guarantees. Rain, frozen ground, drought restrictions, extreme heat, equipment failure or other causes outside our control may delay work; we will reschedule to the next reasonable opportunity. Mowing frequency may be reduced during drought or dormancy to protect the lawn, and billing for per-visit services will reflect visits actually performed.
You agree to give us reasonable access to the work area, keep gates unlocked on service days, secure pets, and remove toys, hoses, furniture and other items from lawns and beds. We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area or for visits missed because access was not available, which may be billed as completed.
We request KY 811 utility locates before digging. Public utility locates do not cover private lines such as irrigation, landscape lighting, invisible pet fences, septic systems, propane lines or private electrical runs; you agree to mark or disclose these. We are not liable for damage to unmarked private lines. If we discover hidden conditions such as buried debris, rock, poor drainage or rotten structures, we will stop and discuss any change in price before continuing.
Plants we supply and install are warranted for one year from installation, provided they receive watering and care as recommended. Each failed plant will be replaced once; labor is included during the first 90 days. The warranty does not cover damage from drought, flooding, freeze, pests, animals, disease, mechanical damage, improper care or acts of nature. Hardscape workmanship is warranted for two years against settling or failure caused by our installation. Seed germination and turf results are not guaranteed.
Maintenance services may be cancelled with 14 days' written notice. Deposits for installation projects are refundable in full if you cancel within 3 business days of approval; after that, deposits may be retained to cover materials ordered and work scheduled. We may end service with written notice if an account is unpaid or the site is unsafe to work on.
We carry general liability insurance and will repair damage caused by our negligence. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any job will not exceed the amount paid for that job. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, normal wear, or the natural growth, decline or death of plants outside the warranty.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Simpson County, Kentucky, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. We may update these Terms; the effective date above shows the latest revision.

This Privacy Policy explains how Homestead Scapes LLC ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website, request an estimate or become a customer.
Information you provide. Your name, phone number, email address, property address, the services you're interested in, and any details you share in forms, emails, calls or texts.
Customer information. Service history, gate codes or access notes you give us, billing contact details and payment records. Card and bank payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the website we may collect IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and the date and time of your visit.
We may photograph your property before, during and after work to document conditions, plan projects and support warranty claims. With your permission, we may use photos of completed work in our portfolio or on social media. We avoid showing people, house numbers and license plates, and you can withdraw permission at any time.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your estimate, scheduled visits and account. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of non-essential messages, or tell us by phone or email. We will not send marketing texts without your consent.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and understand how it's used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We keep estimate requests for up to 24 months and customer and billing records for up to seven years to meet tax and warranty needs. Access notes such as gate codes are deleted when service ends. We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, though no system is completely secure.
Email requests to privacy@homesteadscapesllc.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. Kentucky residents may have additional rights under the Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act where it applies.
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
